SCV Private Lifeguard Service Release from Liability Agreement


It is hereby understood that SCV Private Lifeguard Service and it's Lifeguards are the eyes and ears for event patrons who are unable to give their full attention to children and adults alike who may be involved in aquatic activities.  Although it is highly probable that injury can be prevented with proper supervision and training, it is also impossible to prevent an injury 100% of the time where activity is involved.  Our Lifeguards are trained to observe situations in the aquatic environment, which may involve potential injury and which can be averted a majority of the time, but because of many situations which can occur in rapid succession, it is virtually impossible to stop all situations or injuries at all times.

 

I understand that serious accidents, or death, can occur during aquatic activities; and that participants in aquatic activities occasionally sustain mortal or serious personal injuries, and/or property damage, as a consequence thereof.  Knowing the risk of aquatic activities nevertheless, I hereby agree to assume, on behalf of my family and guests, those risks and to release and hold harmless all of the persons or entities mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to my family and guests for damages. 


It is further understood by checking 'I Agree' on the booking form, I release SCV Private Lifeguard Service and it's employees from any and all incidents that may occur and will not pursue them legally.  Assumption of risk is to be binding on the heirs and assigns of my child and guests.  I agree to assume all responsibility for any property damage or injury to any person caused by my family and guests while participating in the aquatic event which I have arraigned.
